Essential Skills Swim School student, Lana Gentle, was swimming with her parents at Behana creek recently when she found herself in a bit of trouble! The water was deep and she was quickly swept down the creek. Lana realised she was too far out to make it back to shore. She then instinctively remembered the life saving techniques we teach here and began to “tread water” and managed to yell out to mum and dad who came to her aid swiftly! Well done Lana!!
